The Thompson® TAO50®, manufactured by Auto-Ordnance®, is a bolt-action .50 BMG rifle engineered for extreme long-range performance and uncompromising power. Built on a precision-machined platform featuring patent-pending roller bearing bolt technology and muzzle brake design, the TAO50 leads the evolution of American long-range precision rifle engineering.

The lineup is offered in a rugged black or Flat Dark Earth anodized finish and is available in Standard (Fixed Stock) and Folding Stock configurations, delivering a balanced blend of stability, portability, and power.

Expanding the TAO50 family, the new TAO50-SUP is an integrally suppressed rifle featuring a 35” barrel with a built-in suppressor and muzzle brake, paired with an aluminum folding stock with an integrated monopod. The integrally suppressed system reduces the report of PMC M33 ball ammunition to approximately 110 dB, while reducing recoil to less than that of a .308 Winchester.

Both TAO50 models feature full-length accessory and optics rails for mission-specific customization. Each rifle ships with a Barrett® M107A1 10-round black magazine and is housed in a custom wheeled hard case for secure transport.
